Craig, originally from Los Angeles, California, graduated in 1989 from Southern Methodist University with a BBA in finance and spent the early part of his career in financial management at American Airlines and SABRE. He completed his MBA, also at SMU, in 1994. Beginning in 1997, he was President of Atrana Solutions, a technology company serving the banking and point-of-sale industries. In 2005, Craig participated in the sale of Atrana to a publicly traded company.
Craig is co-founder of various companies designed to address various social issues (impact organizations) including Soap Hope and The Good Returns Group. Currently, he serves as President of Good Returns Group, whose mission is to arrange custom financing structures for non-profit and for-profit impact organizations. He also serves on the board of Miles of Freedom, a non-profit organization that assists individuals being released from prison navigate the breadth of issues associated with reentering society including finding full-time employment.
Craig lives in Dallas with his wife and has two adult sons.
